Support Groups for Kids & Teens (Ages 4-18)
A thoughtfully curated guide offering practical information, reflections, and tools to help navigate the grief journey.

An introduction to understanding grief — what it is, how it can change over time, and the many ways it may be experienced. Created to bring clarity and reassurance without overwhelming detail.
Camp Anew
Camp Anew is a summer program that ministers specifically to children & teens ages 7-17; it is a place where campers can experience the value of gathering with other children who are grieving, learn biblically based coping skills and are offered HOPE to lead a meaningful life going forward.
Bereaved Parent Events
These annual events for parents who have experienced the death of a child are a safe place to learn, share, and discuss their grief with those who truly understand. Bereaved Parent Dinner is held in the spring and Bereaved Mom’s Night Out is held each summer.

Mourning Star Curriculum
For Schools, Educators & Community Leaders
The Mourning Star Curriculum is a grief education program designed for schools, educators, and community organizations supporting grieving children and families. Developed by Starlight Ministries, it offers age-appropriate lessons and practical tools to help adults guide meaningful conversations about grief with care and confidence.
The curriculum can be used as a complete series or as individual units, making it flexible for classrooms, support groups, churches, and community settings.

What began as a family’s search for connection after loss has grown into a place where grief isn’t faced alone, but shared with others who understand.
Every program and support group is offered at no cost, made possible by the generosity of volunteers and financial supporters. Through peer-to-peer support, education, and community care, Starlight walks alongside individuals at every stage of grief with compassion and faith.
